Oakville Seniors Slow Pitch League

Sept. 19
I hope you all have a great winter and come back ready to play again next year. It has been great working with Larry, Laurence and Ron on the Executive these past years, and I am looking forward to playing next year, and also welcome and thank Bob Falconi who will replace me on the Executive. I will continue supporting the web site.
Please see a few attached notes under the News and Views item, and tune in again in November for any updates we have concerning 2020 following the Executive Management closing meeting.

The OSSPL is a men’s slow-pitch league for players 69 years and older who want to continue to play for enjoyment at a competitive level consistent with our ages. We play for fun (with a long remembered fondness for winning) and following games we meet at The Pipes and Taps Pub  for lunch and refreshments.

A list of spare players 67 years of age and older is maintained in support of the league to cover for absent players.

Players are assigned to 4 teams each year with play beginning in April and ending in September. Games are played on the Oakville Glen Ashton Parks with nine inning games starting at 10:00 Tuesday mornings.
Contact information for the league is included below.
